Professional Background

My career in the travel industry began with America West Airlines in early 1994, transitioning later to corporate travel where I managed bookings for air travel, hotels, and car reservations for senior executives and new employee groups across various prominent companies in Kansas City and nationwide. When the introduction of the world wide web and online booking transformed the industry, I transitioned to instructing company admins on the essential skills needed for online travel booking. Over the years, I have had the privilege of leading large groups to many global destinations.

Family

My life partner is a UPS driver who is both my love and best friend. We have 3 grown kids and are looking forward to celebrating 30 years of marriage in 2025.

• I love black & white movies, especially those featuring Cary Grant. My favorite Cary Grant film is Only Angels Have Wings
• My current favorite TV show is Ted Lasso
• I love books about World War II stories and survivors
• I have visited many countries including Greece, England, Italy, Croatia, and France. My favorite city to visit is New Orleans
• My hobby is Genealogy
• I have lived in Missouri my entire life
• My dad's parents are descendants of some of the first families in Louisiana, and my mom's parents were generational farmers up until my grandpa served in World War II
